Last night the top five performed songs from Sinatra. Highlights included Harry Conick Junior’s humor and piano playing, Simon’s scary, scary shirt that showed his chest hair all the way to his belly button, and the surprising lack of luster from the contestants, with the exception of a great performance by Lee.
I’m still rooting for Crystal, but she needs to stop trying to explain her “artistic reasons” to all four judges. Smiling and saying thank you would be good. In fact, Lee actually really might win this thing. What do you guys think?

What a great host! Loved watching a great musician like HC Jr working with the talent this week.
ReplyDeleteChoices were tough and if you were like me and followed the crowd this week, you picked Casey to go out and got nowhere.
In the big picture it was time for Aaron to go this week and he did. I should have stuck with my overall view and not been influenced by one week's performances, and worse yet the judges comments.
Still pulling for Crystal, but yes Annie, you are right, Lee could pull this thing out - but then again, so could Big Mike!
